EB-1C Green Card-The EB-1C Green Card is a subset of the EB-1 employment-based Green Card, designed for individuals seeking admission to the U.S. as managers or executives in a U.S. office, affiliate, or subsidiary of foreign companies. To be eligible, you must have been employed outside the United States for at least one year within the three years before filing the petition or the most recent lawful nonimmigrant admission if you are already working for the U.S. petitioning employer. The U.S. petitioner must have been engaged in business for at least one year, possess a qualifying relationship with the entity you worked for outside the U.S., and have the intention to employ you in a managerial or executive capacity.
Importantly, there is no requirement for a job offer or labor certification.
Duration: Green cards are permanent residency status documents. As long as you meet the residency requirements and do not violate the terms of the visa, you can retain them for life.
Family Members: If your I-140 petition is approved, your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 may qualify to apply for admission to the United States in E-14 or E-15 immigrant status, respectively.
